Whenever she felt lonely, she went to the grass fields, and lay there alone for hours, watching the fireflies twinkle in the night. Sometimes she'd dream she were one of them, and could travel anywhere she wanted - without fearing for her life or her beloved ones.

I'd like it to be May... or July, when it's hottest here and the sun practically does not set. Then the fireflies dance around you, and you can lie in the grass for a very, very long time.
